Photo Essay: Portland Ice Storm, 2014
Well, the snow storm of 2014 turned into an ice storm last night and there is a 1/3 inch of ice covering everything! These are just a few photos from around my house as getting out is not really possible right now. I’m starting to get cabin fever though, so hopefully the rain will return tomorrow!
Photo Essay: Portland Snowstorm 2014
Snow is a rare event here in Portland, Oregon and when it happens we all get a little too excited! For the past 3 days I have been snowed in my house while the the city is essentially at a standstill. Here are a few photos from around my house. Nothing too spectacular, but snow around here is always worth sharing! These are photos from day 1 through today and it keeps on snowing, so there may be more to come.

San Sebastian, Spain
I spent about a month in Spain during the summer of 2012. During that time I walked a portion of the Camino de Santiago and the days were hot and dry! The only day I saw rain was the one day I passed through San Sebastian before I began my trek. It was a beautiful city and a welcome escape from the heat!
